"Yes, I can speak English!"

A blog in English huh? Well, it might be a surprise to some of you (or perhaps only to the Gazillionaire, but he still probably won't understand this), but I can write AND speak English. Always have been able to. It's frustrating that the Gaz never gets this, but hey, he (barely) pays me to play the drums, so what do I care? His ignorance aside, I'm having a great time with my pals in Fish Circus. Penny keeps trying to be my friend, which is cool I guess. Her childlike innocence is amusing. Shahen is fun to hang with, though it's sometimes hard to understand what he says with his accent. Dan, well, he's the man. And John Michael Richardson, he's just damn crazy! As you could imagine, we get ourselves into some shenanigans here!

We're more than half done with the New York run and I'm sad and surprised to say that I'll miss the Gazillionaire when we're done. Although it will probably be too soon before I see him again.

To the generous and patient theater

going intellects of New York, I would like to apologize for the less than professional candor which, all too often, you are subjected to in "Gazillionaire's Late Night Lounge."
   When the Gazilionaire's people first approached me about the show they assured me it would be a show of integrity in which we would educate and help the populous with our means and understanding. "The Gazilionaire has been very fortunate and now he wants to share his fortune with those in need." this is how they pitched the show to me.
   I have, from the beginning, attempted to fill the show with the type of quality programing you might expect from a seasoned philanthropist. Unfortunately, to date, all of my suggestions have either been ignored or twisted into the showy cheap tripe, which saturates "The Gazzilionaire's Late Night Lounge."
   I'm not saying that comedy doesn't have a place in our show.I enjoy a good laugh like anyone else. I have often found myself in stitches admiring the comic styling of great artists such as Emo Philips, Jerry Louis and Gallagher. I just don't want it to come at the cost of philanthropy and cultural enrichment.
   My good people, I swear that my struggle to bring quality to the stage will not be hindered by frustrated attempts. I will bring integrity to this show I promise.

a moment of quiet introspection

and it is time to finally write again

now again is it time to finally write

to write finally

forgive me I have cut my hair again

and I have accented the other side of my face

pure chance

coincidence

but we are to new things and I do not need to fear old routines

in favor of developing new ones

behaviors will remain fairly consistent, however

it is my opportunity

mine solely

to effect positive change on my interpretation and feelings

regarding these behaviours

tonight was a big night and I need not live so largely

largely will I live

so I must then first forgive myself for living so largely

having feelings that feel negatively about it

forgive the feelings

forgive myself again

I am wonderful and beautiful and my intentions are pure

I love everyone and not only myself

for I am nothing without them

god bless all of these people and my opportunity to live their lives for this instant

I am enjoying myself

I hope this continues as long as I do so

I like the challenge and the opportunity within that framework

to apply myself to understanding and succeeding

Penny's Corner

Geez Louise I’ve never written in a blog before! I’ve heard that it’s really super cool and only really neat people have blogs that have really important things to say… so I’m pretty honored that someone would ask me to share my thoughts with the internet world. But you know, I’m a pretty lucky girl and I’ve come a long way. My Dad raised me to be a pretty straight arrow, whenever he was around of course. You see, my father is a very important person. Even today he’s out on safari’s killing animals for hide and meeting dark colored people to listen to their funny click-clocking languages.

“Penny we must civilize the world even if the people who don’t ask for it.” He says to me. I can just imagine him right now riding on a majestic rhinoceros his head held high as he glides through the tall jungle grass. He’s probably whistling some Rod steward song (that’s his favorite) while a man named Mkembe is following his fearless leader into the thick like a beautiful African womans hair, searching for the cure for A.I.D.S or something. That’s my dad! Never scared for the good of mankind. Sometimes you have to do stuff that you don’t want to do for the good of man. Sometimes you have to close your eyes and let things happen you know? Even if it feels gross or icky or wrong. “Life isn’t about what YOU want Penny.” My dad would say. I think that’s an important code to live by. “Do things for OTHER people that way you’ll never become a selfish whore like your mother.” I’ve never met my mother so maybe she did get paid to have sex with my father. I was raised by my nana Claude. A militant Swedish woman who used to be a man but got a really neat operation that magically transformed all her man bits and pieces. She carried a whistle around her neck and anytime I would make a mistake she would blow it in my face. It’s part of the reason for my fear of marching bands….that and the cymbals. You just never know when they’re going to crash. Any-who! I’m really excited about this super cool thing and hopefully people will read the blogs that I write and become friends with me because there’s nothing like having friends. Even on the internet…it still counts even though you never get to see the actual people or talk to them or hug them or even know that they exist or have any kind of physical contact with them which might even be better because you can’t spread diseases that way. So you can even be friends with gay s! And boy do I love the gays!

Well, I took Penny and The Wheel of Destiny to play a little "What Would You do for a Dollar?" on Wall Street for all the poor fuckers that have lost all their money. We gave out at least $100 and got a programmer to dance with a random Dominican man, a poor Jewish broker to do 10 pushups for a buck, and almost got to see a really happy Divorce Lawyer get kicked in the balls!

We will be doing it again next week! So come on out and win some cash!
